There is an ad on Craig's titled "Private Investigator Needed." Advertisement is as follows: ConspiracyBlogger.Net needs a serious private investigator to help expose and prove ongoing conspiracies in the government and elsewhere. Finders fee will be rewarded for anyone making solid contributions. Interested parties contact Cblogger@conspiracyblogger.net.

Morgan was sitting at his trailer with silence in the air. The sunlight beaming through the windows of a finely built and bought home to work in while brewing a gentle black cup of coffee which peculates like an inky tar seeping through till purified into a fine smelling brew in his mug. He brushes back his white stocky hair in silence from his scalp, scruffy in appearance, and a bit of peach fuzz on his chin and cheeks. His apparel being a simple worn out brown overcoat wrapped around him like a morning robe tied at the waist, sitting himself down. His eyes gazing to the newspaper in quiet notice seeing the article involving a needed investigator at the time. His silent blue gaze peering over it without any motion, though his hand folds up the paper onward and reaching over to the -counter beside him in pulling a portable laptop along, bringing it right up in typing onward with examination of web browsing for the email in putting in his application.

Minutes later Cblogger Responds: He sends an article describing the recent controversy over Councilman Ben Harper, the reallocation of city funds, and the flu outbreak. A cryptic message follows the article. "Need you to check out the following buildings and see if there is any construction going on. Take pictures, note anything unusual, and email it back to me today. Freelance contributors get $50 per contribution. That cool?

Morgan sips his coffee while confirming the actual input of the money. That many number of zero's could only mean one thing. This WASN'T an ordinary case to consider in his thoughts. His mind keeping to memory the information of current political events happening as he was getting himself up and bringing himself into getting his personal belongings set. He grabs what looked like a shelf full of numerous cell phones in body, taking one of bulkiness up and opening the back in imputing a memory card inside before getting the battery checked. with each bar popping up one at a time like a mystery of unsolved cases, he pocketed it within his coat and brought himself out into the sunlight. The problem with it was the amount of light there was in the day, shielding it with his arm to
block from retinal problems with his eyesight as he went along with going to his pickup truck that usually tows his mobile home around in heading to the destination.

As Morgan heads to the first courthouse, Port Huron, he notes that the court house is swarming with autorities - police and firefighters. Looking at the courthouse, he can see why. The exterior side door of the court house is scorched from flames. Clearly, some sort of fire happened within. A reporter stands nearby, speaking to a live camera. "...the fire is said to have errupted at 3 A.M. last night. Two guards responded and the arsonist replied with brutality, tearing the men nearly limb from limb. I am told the scene is ghastly with the men's blood. Firefighters are still laboring to control the fire at 2 P.M... it is unusual, perhaps a new combination of chemicals..."

"..." he gives a silent sigh with notice, keeping himself in the bit of shadow while being in a solitude state of mind examining the crime scene in and of itself without question. His gaze steely and resolute while he was waiting for the crowd to die down, keeping the memory of each persons face and name mentioned by off chance to himself on the hope of securing who is who and what were they doing from a distance. He couldn't risk being noticed this much, not by this big a crowd, as he was simply keeping solitude to himself knowing that being at a distance would be disaprooving of finding the proof that might get washed away without his involvement.

As Morgan waits for the crowd to die down, he notes one blond woman watching the court house with a frown. She is musular, but appears to have not slept in days. She turns and speaks to a man who stands at 6'0'' who looks equally sleep deprived. The two move away from the site within moments. Within twenty minutes, the firefighters pack up. The reporter haranges them and they admit to putting out 'the oddest fire we ever saw. Localized around the seal on the court house floor.

** The fire is localized on the seal on the court house floor, the one with the bald eagle image. The image has now been ruined by the fire

The fire is contained to that one room, fire damage minimal. " The police move in next, likely searching for clues on who killed the two guards.
he didn't say anything, nor did he keep weary of the notice of the two sleep deprived figures that left. however, he does take it as a note upon keeping their physical identities in tune from the twitching of a nose to the identity of each wrinkle or brow mark they had upon them. From at most, he makes an approach when the crowd had become less, walking along to the officers as if quietly moving through. though he takes the time to rummage his overcoat in pulling the usual identity of investigation every person of his trade had. It gleamed with a bright golden hue while the black leather flap held his identification card upon it onwards after before he became visible to the smaller public. At least here, things wouldn't be as hectic as a crowd.

The police ignore him for several minutes. The scene within the court house is ghastly, indeed. Two blood pools mark where the guards fell, by the wall farthest from the side door. The bodies have long been removed. There were two entrances to this room - the side door and the main door. Two chalk outlines indicate that the men fell while moving within the room. The copper - y scent of blood hung heavily in the air, the blood sprays making the room into the scene of nightmare.

As Morgan moved around the room, he stood beside a photographer and watched as he stooped to photograph blood splatter. Looking over the man's shoulder, he saw something on the floor beside the photographers focus. It was clearly overlooked by the police, something as small as a finger tip besides the four inch spray of blood. As Morgan studied it, he realized what it was. A simple, light press of bloody hand upon the wall. As he leaned in, he noticed no print of a hand or the accompaning fingers. It was if a single index finger was pressed against the wall. Looking back at the print, he saw another sign that something was wrong- no swirls in the thin impression of blood. No finger print.
Seryna: A moments reflection made him realize what had happened. Someone without the identifying traits of finger prints had touched the blood and made this impression. Standing, he moved towards the two men working off of digital cameras. After giving off the air that he belonged, the men continued to look through the digital images of the bodies before they had been moved. The mens throats had been torn open - that had been the first attack. The second rips to the chest and arms were only to attain better holds, perhaps to attribute the blood loss to the larger wounds. But this smelled of vampires...

it was the only thing to catch his attention at the time, ponderous of the situation as no mention of the people wearing gloves was legible. The thought of a glove would mean the print would have had some sort of leather printing on it or some small details which denote the wearing of one within his sighting. His mind thinking back to the thoughtfulness of what most people would have if they had no finger prints... no fingerprints...random combustion into fire...something akin out of some monster movie he would imagine. But he let his wandering conjectures settle as possibilities, as anything in this world would seem possible.

Morgan investigates for several more minutes before the police at the door make a loud complaint. Looking over, he sees three black suit wearing men walk in, flashing badges, FBI badges.

The police state their displeasure, signaling that jurisdiction is in jeopardy.

Now he would figure the FBI is simply trying to cover up paranormal activity as well as any sort of motion that would cause inactivity to happen within. Seeing his chance to help the police out might be in a bit of a jeopardy in and of itself, along with evidence being destroyed, he took a final fast gaze around while the police kept the FBI busy from doing their action towards quarantining the area off.
((done, 4 successes))

As he listens to the head investigator on the scene intercept the men, one of them loudly proclaims: "I'm Special Agent Gregory Riggan and you are jeopardizing an ongoing case! Have your men cease their activity and bring their equipment over here. I want to see their I.D.s and-" The head investigator loudly protests, but it gives you enough time to glance around.

When no one is looking, and possibly hoping so on one side of his head, as the other has faith that he might get away with it, he takes the moment to take his sleeve over his own hand and move himself over to the sight of it right down to finding his way on in. His hand moving to the entry ways possible opening latch as he works it enough.

"Excuse me detective, i think i found something." he calls out as he works the latch.

As the agents turn and look, you see displeasure ripple across Special Agent Riggan's face. His dace darkens with anger.
He strides forward, nearly shouting.

"Officer Yves, who is this? Why is he contaminating my crime scene?"
Officer Yves follows over, looking bewildered.
"A private-"
"He's out!" Barks Agent Riggan. He moves over, standing atop of the trap door. As you watch, you see the other two agents take officer Yves by the elbow, guiding him away from the trap door.

It was clear the agents are trying to keep any one from getting near to you.

he didn't say or even make any faces at the time, keeping quite stern and stone faced as he looked solomnly to the trap door he stood on. "...well then good luck finding the trap door the perpetraitors used that you're standing on..." he turns and silently walks away, seeming to pay no mind to the FBI though thinking they had good reason to keep morgan from being approached.

the only thing he felt lucky about was the detective being probably too arrogant enough to pay morgan any mind, and possibly thinks he will adequitely take charge of finding the perpetraitors escape route.
julio martell: ~at least I won't be noticed this way...~ he thinks

As he walks through the crime scene, Agent Riggan falls to his knees beside the door. Nearly too quick to see, he places a blue tarp across the floor. It effectively masks the trap door. Yet as Morgan nears the door, he notes that the two agents are at the door, escorting the police officers out of the courthouse. As you approach, the taller one steps into your path. He clearly leans in, giving you a closer look. "I.D?"

morgan bringing his hand to his badge as he was showing his identification papers. "you know that detective is bribed to hide evidence?"

"he's probably hiding a trap door that leads to the side entrance of the building considering its placement and the direction of which it leads to, or perhaps it could be where the criminal hid and made an escape from waiting for the crowd to come in from the blood slaughter and then slip out without a trace within all the confusion..."

"that's all I have to assume sir, but i was simply passing through on my own investigation."

"First off, that isn't a detective-" The Agent decalres ina snotty tone.

"Thats Special Agent Riggan. And what he is doing is protecting our investigation. It involves highly placed -" He pauses, revising his statement. "- and these two doors are the only exits to this room. " You watch as he notes your ID number and name and hands your ID back. "You can leave. I doubt your services will be needed."

"I hope so." he places it back in his pocket as he walks off. If these people are not going to really talk of any sort of investigation on who he saw, then it was their loss on actually being involved with who the perpetraitors are. However..if they were really trying to hide the hidden entrance then why would they do so openly. Luckily for him, his aloof and ratehr detatched state of mind and personality got him an easy enough ticket to walking out as if he didn't matter.

As Morgan walks out of the crime scene, he has to wonder at the odd behavior of teh FBI agents. Taking names, badge numbers, evidence... From his experience, that was not the status quo of the FBI. Yet he had accomplished the investigation of one of the buildings. He had another on the list from cblogger.net - or perhaps cblogger would like an update now...

Without any waste of explaination, he simply got himself onward to going onward to the sighting of his truck and get himself in. The thought of those FBI agents having checked his identification, got him to believe these people weren't the FBI and that wasn't an agent. Still, what has happened has happened, and as long as he acted like a simple citizen out of the ordinary, he won't be worrying about them thinking twice of him again.

He didn't take long to drive along down the street in which he had already gotten himself back to the simplicity of his home abode of a trailer. His parking was put first and then taking the time to actually getting back to his trailer in emailing back to his contact.

As he composed the email, he had to consider what would be relevent. It was clear that he was the only one who had seen the bloody hand print, that was clearly a feather in his hat. Yet the trap door - and the odd behavior of Special Agent Riggan.

As he composed the email, he had to consider what would be relevent. It was clear that he was the only one who had seen the bloody hand print, that was clearly a feather in his hat. Yet the trap door - and the odd behavior of Special Agent Riggan.

The email:

He didn't and would not really put any information out of the question, including the detailing of the persons personalities, the form of the bodies, the entirety of the crime scenes slaughter, the trap door, including the notice of when he had seen 2 persons end up leaving through the alley way, as well as a worded detailing description of their appearance, apparel, and probably a guess on their shoe types and sizes if they were wearing any.

He mentioned the behavior Special Agent Riggan and the FBI's personalities, the finding of the 2 persons who left through the alley way (with a description of a woman that could very well be Kimberly) the trap door that was found and hidden from the police by Agent Riggan, the mauled state of the bodies, the bloody hand print with no finger prints on it, as well as the fire that combusted as if someone burst into flames in an instant.)

Morgan takes the moment to move leaving from his own home to drive someplace secluded with a payphone not too close to peoples ear shot. This way the call won't be traced back to him as he spoke through it. He took the phone in question putting in some coin for proper pay, and dialing up the department with a private number he attained from an old friend on the force durring his days of police work.

"I'd like to speak to R&D please." even speaking his Private Investigators number.

After a few minutes, R&D came on. "Yeah, Morgan? Whats going on?"

"I got a lead on a case that involves what territory the FBI took."

"I have descriptions of two suspects who were walking away from the scene and I need assistance with profiling to properly ID them both."

Blonde Woman: She stood at 5'9'' with blonde hair, muscular and athletic. She was sleep deprived, her blue eyes with bags beneath them. Her hair falls just across her jaw line. She is trim, at about 120 lbs. She has nothing on her hands.
The man: Stands at 6'0'', darker skinned and muscular. He has the beginnings of a pouch about the stomach. He is about 210 lbs, about size 10 shoe. No form of jewelry on either.
"All right. Names?" R&D comes back.

"I was hoping you would use the profiling I gave to look in the database to indicate what their names were."
"Uh,.. sure. I'll call you in two hours with whatever kicks back."

"alright." he hangs up afterwords with such a waiting period, though taking the time to await calling on his disposable phone and the time it would be. It was about enough time for a simple small steak lunch with a drink of water and some garnish which took 30 minutes to prepare and 30 minutes to eat before heading back on the wait for his call.

R&D does not call back until nearly 6 P.M. "Departments busy with the crime wave." He replied. "O.K., for the woman we have Sarah Wellington, Beth Lowe, Kimberly Grafton and Julia Siles as the closest matches. The guy is most likely Edward 'Ward' Morre."

"Criminal records?"

"Nobody comes back with any criminal records. Odd thing is Kimberly Grafton had a drivers liscense ten years ago, lists her at 28 years old. Chick still looks 28, has had quite the work done, eh?"

"Rather an odd thing. So the two likely suspects in that term are kimberly grafton and edward morre. Any background history on kimberly's last movements 10 years ago? Just a hunch."

"Her movements...no. nothing at all since that picture was taken. She had a house on Glenhaven, but that was sold ten years ago. No work history. Like she dropped off the grid."

"That's what i'm worrying about...has edward recently dropped off the grid himself?"

"Well, Kimberly was gone for ten years. Yets look at Edward." There's a pause. " Yeah, looks like he had something better to do than Detroit too. No work history or registrations for twelve years. Oh, wait. He was listed as a driver for Harper Clothing Inc. for the last ten years. The Detroit branch." Well this can't be right. I'm looking at his driver's liscense and he has to be at least forty years old. Picture was updated last year and its the same damn guy. " R&D trails off. You can practically hear the gears grinding, trying to figure out the oddity.

"Well you can imagine what my gears are telling me..."

"Uh, no. I can't." R&D replies.

"Two people who have had no such actions within 10 years and still look the same as if untouched by time, and one of them happens to be working with harper clothing incorperated...and kimberly grafton was seen with edward morre at the scene..."

"The two had bags in their eyes, they were talking like something was displeasing about the scene of the crime..."

"Sorry man, but I was supposed to clock off ten minutes ago. Good luck with this..."

"I will." hangs up
With a drive along to glenhaven, and not much of a thought of question in his mind, he makes his way along to the adress of kimberly's sold home and establishment where she once worked, seeing if anyone bought the house or latter 10 years back

When he arrives at 3726 Glenhaven, he finds a modest two bed room house. A woman in her late fifties works in the garden, pulling weeds.

he didn't speak or say of much when he approached, parking his truck appropriately as he steps outside for a bit to take a look and gander at it quietly. "..." then he looks over to the elder lady, rather disappointed he would have to ask questions to one of her age, but morgan being in his 40's wasn't really one to talk about others older than he is. He walks along over quietly, approaching a front gate if there was one, and giving a call over. "Excuse me ma'am?"

"Yes." The woman pauses to move a graying curl that had escaped her bun. "Who might you be?" She rocks back on her heels, looking up at him. Her trowel lowers in front of her.

He gives a silent nod to her. "just a private investigator looking in on a missing persons situation with a miss kimberly Grafton. did you happen to purchase this house from such a woman 10 years ago?"

"Missing? Ms. Grafton isn't missing. I saw her just the other day. But yes, I did buy the house from her... has it been ten years already?" She gives a self depreciating laugh. "The years just go on by.."

"I see ma'am. Can you tell me the condition of her face when she came? Did she look as if work or some other stress was tiring her out causing bags in her eyes?"

"How impolite." The woman sniffs, lowering her eyes and setting her trow back to work. "She was here just last night. We had coffee and cake til far too late in the evening. Her employer just let her go and she deserves to have a good sit without a man judging her appearance."

She says stiffly.

"My apologies ma'am. This is in relation to a female with the same description as her at another area with a man as they were leaving the scene. She is believed to be a witness to a murder that has happened recently so i am trying to make a proper investigation on the matter. I apologize for my rudeness in the situation, as having my years spent looking into these crimes has made me rather emotionally detatched.

"I hope you understand and will forgive my behavior..."

The woman sniffs and glances up from her petunias. "Kim wouldn't be about the scenes of any crimes. She's busy looking for work, a new place to live. We spent the night looking over some apartments that would suit her. She has such opinions!" She gave a small smile. "She sure kept up with the nieghborhood, knew all the places that were lowering rates."
2011-06-04 04:52:12 Morgan Cambell rolled 5 dice to "empathy (lies)" 5,2,9,5,7 (1 successes)
The woman speaks candidly, too quickly for lies to come.

"If you would be kind enough, would you kindly say if she has picked a residence i can reach her at? It is important for my investigation."

"I didn't see any I.D. " The woman sniffs. "I can't just be giving her address out to any one who comes by."
"Fair enough." he reaches into hs overcoat and pulling his proper identification badge outward to her.

"You are not the police." The woman frowns. "Who hired you to harass Kim?"

"Someone who knows her well and is worried about her movements i believe."

"They were afraid hiring the police may be a problem."

"Her movements. A young woman has the right to do what she wants and hiring the police? We pay taxes, does that means I hired them?" The woman snorts a laugh, struggling to stand. She is short, about 5'4'' when she draws herself up. "Who gets an apartment in a night, any way? Theres credit checks to be done, histories..." The little woman shook her head. "She left me a number. I'll give it to you if you promise you'll be fair."

"I will be as fair as i can and as possible ma'am."

"Here..." The woman straightens and turns to her house. "Wait her a moment. I'll be right back." She leaves you standing there for several minutes before she returns, holding a slip of paper. She holds it out to you, revealing the scrawl 'Kim - 555 - 9027'

He takes a moment to simply gaze onward at the sighting of the number in question, then he looks over at her with a nod as he accepted the note. "Thank you ma'am. I hope you will have a good day dispite the rude intrusion of myself."
The woman gives a mute nod before looking up at you. "You be nice to Kim, now. She took such good care of those little children. She'll find work again... You be on, then. Good day." She lowers herself back to the ground, busily working her small plot of bright flowers.
he takes the time to head back to his truck and step in driving back to his trailer. He took a bit of time getting back before he would really get any chance with being spotted, taking routes less trackable by him, and following up to his home where he went back to his laptop to email the number to his contact.

he will include the name of kimberly grafton, the other who was with her edward ward morre and his past work relevance at harpers clothing inc, and he will also include the phone number to track her with.

Email:

Dear sir

I have started looking into the cases of the situation involving what you were hoping to find about Harper himself. There were accidents that happened at the first building in question, where as there were investigators who were looking over obvious evidence to begin with. I managed to go in and look like one of the investigators, till i noticed the sighting of a bloody hand print which had no fingerprint identification upon it. There were also bodies drained of blood and a burnt body which had become combusted from a fire. I am not sure if you believe in vampires but i would be able to request you keep a stake to your chest where any try to take you.

Then there were FBI members and special Agent Riggans. However, they were looking at Identifications and trying to make sure no suspicious persons were looking in at the obvious trap door that was left there for criminals to escape from the scene of the crime. However, I have looked into the deep detailing of two people who were there. I am looking into deeper information on the two in question but they will come up in the next email after examination.

Email:

Kimberly Grafton, age 29, unchanged for 10 years from some sort of effect of her going off the grid for that long. I have looked into her past residence and the new owner spoke of talking with her just recently today at 3726 Glen Haven. She worries about her but she has been with her recently in finding an apartment to stay at in the night time. Her information following is her phone number being 5 5 5 - 9 0 2 7. The other suspect is named Edward Ward Morre, more information to follow but he was, and mayhaps still is, a driver at Harper clothes Inc. The two were seen together at the scene of the crime as if they were frowning, and talking to one another out of my earshot for me to hear properly. I will return if I find other information about their actions off grid, or you may come and locate me yourself if you have not researched my information already.

Cblogger's reply: There is going to be a staff meeting in a few days. Its better for you to tell everyone your findings in person. In the meantime, continue to the other addresses. Avoid Kimberly. Cblogger.

Morgan's reply: do not worry, I can presume interaction with her will be a negative. Inform me of the meeting when you can. Morgan.

After that, he logs off again taking another disposable phone with him. He moves onward to his pickup truck in the next location on the list for targetting down.

chris, I have found new information related to the construction on the second court house you listed. It seems that the remodeling mentioned in the article is underway. I was informed that the workers in the area there were trying to renovate the place after working on some loose pipe in the basement of the building. I have attained blueprint information on the Port Huron court house that I emailed you about earlier. The blue prints show that there is no basement to speak of, as the suspicion of the same suspects having higher up help in having some sort of bribery in which would really lead to designate that the workers are bribed to put a trap door or rebuild the courthouse the way the bribing party sees fit. Checking the third location of my investigation now. Morgan.

Morgan, thank you for your assistance in this investigation. If more work becomes available, I will contact you again. Due to the sensitive nature of our work, the staff is currently reluctant about bringing outsiders to in person meetings. However, I will contact you again if their position changes.

It is fair to judge one as impartial to being part of a group that has been going about these investigations more than anyone else. If anything, with the short amount of information I have given, I wouldn't be surprise if they do not trust me yet or think of me as some sort of happenstance that was not by coincidence. But I do believe fate has a way of letting faith show that things are normally meant to be the way they are. Do trust their judgement, but also trust your own while you are at it. That is often the only thing that can help one face things such as vampires...

Cblogger's Reply:

Morgan,

It sounds like you are interested in continuing this investigation. As you are doing such a good job. I would be happy to share with you the little information I have in the hopes that you will continue to work for ConspiracyBlogger.

Chris sends an image of a family tree, listing the names of the Harper Family.

This is the Harper Family. A group of entities that would commonly be described as "vampires." There are two normal humans in the family. Laura Harper, a reporter, and Ben Rose, a city councilman.

My sources tell me that the Harpers have been kidnapping people off the streets, and feeding them blood. This is a special type of blood that makes people their slaves.

In all likelihood, the buildings you visited are part of a network of prisons called "The Honeycomb" where kidnapped people are being held.

We think that the kidnappings are part of some larger plan, but can't pin that down.

We know that one entity, Susan Harper, appears to be actively engaged in the kidnapping scheme. We at Cbogger have an interest in exposing her true nature and the crimes she has committed.

We also have an interest in routing out corruption in the city. The Harpers control at least one councilman, and according to you, maybe even an FBI Agent.

You are authorized and encouraged to take whatever steps are necessary to further our objectives.

Thanks again.
