Re: Holding the Line: Georgie & Edward
[OOC: So what are Dave, Edward & Georgie planning? It is now simply the three of you. Where are you going? What are you doing when you get there?
You can assume to arrive at your destination safely. If you split up, I'll make you separate threads.]

Re: Holding the Line: Georgie & Edward
It Wasn't in the greatest of condition but the 68 had gotten him from Arkansas to Detroit in one piece and the work on the car before hand had spared him any chance of breaking down on the way here. Still the flat black Charger pulled into the 7-11 parking lot with no problems and pulled into a spot with mostly smooth motion and came to a stop.
When Bucky-Kit Huckleberry Finn Cooper-Stone the II got out of his car he knew he'd draw attention to himself immediately. Dressed in what looked like beat up work boots baggy goth pants with the chains the straps, a rebel flag tee shirt and a Dickies short sleeve work shirt over it and a beat up blue and red baseball cap on his head with a fishing hook anyone could see this guy from a street over.
Still as long as he had been driving he needed to stop and get a snack at least before heading to his apartment building. Heck he hadn't eaten in...3 hours?
Ignoring the other folks that seemed to gawk at him or not he stepped inside to pick up what he wanted. Looking around at least the 7-11's were pretty much same as they were every where else.
Sighing and thinking to himself Bucky had forgot when he had last come to the city...No...It was when he was 10, when his parents were killed in Salem NJ.
Was that the reason he had moved back to a big city? or was it just to get away from his family who seemed to treat him like the token red headed step child. Heck it wasn't his fault he was a fiery red head with the freckles across the bridge of his nose and cheeks.

Re: Holding the Line: Georgie & Edward
As Bucky picked out his treats, he noticed that a manager hustled in from the street after hastily parking his car. For some reason, there hadn't been a teller already in the store.
Re: Holding the Line: Georgie & Edward
Bucky only shook his head and remembered the store in his small town of Arkansas and chuckled thinking of Rusty they part time kid getting high in the bathroom. looking to the manager he gave a half hearted smile before going to the counter.
well it was time to interact with the fellow city people once again. "Busy day?" he asked in a heavy Arkansas accent as he pulled out his wallet and hoped his young looks wouldn't force him to pull out his id for cigarettes.

"Ah- one of our clerks was just rushed to the hospital." The manager replied, distractedly, scanning the cigarettes. he does ask for the I.D., but speedily bags it.
The phone rings and he hustles away, distracted.
Bucky notes a Blue hummer outside, where a man in a trench coat stands near it.

Re: Holding the Line: Georgie & Edward
Bucky could only blink in disbelief as his order was quickly rushed. Before he could even process his thoughts and say something the manager had already rushed off. If any thing this was at least one of the few blessings of living in the country for so long. Putting his I.D away and cursing the fact he was only 18 made it a pain to make any quick purchases. Especially when it came to nicotine fixes.
Picking up his few bags he turned to leave and indeed noticed the blue hummer and the man nearby it. Shaking his head, the gothic country boy gave a weak chuckle. The guy stood out like a sore thumb even in a place like this. It was like some cliche out of one of them spy movies or somethin' like that.
Which is why it was odd when he got an odd chill up his spine. He didn't know the guy and obviously didn't want to but still.... the guy was putting off vibes.
"Dang Bucky... ya' been in the city for a whole 4 hours and you're already paranoid. Ain't nothin' wrong with the guy except fer' bein' a dern attention hog.".

Re: Holding the Line: Georgie & Edward
Edward was leaning against the Hummer talking to Georgie now as he heard someone speaking. He glanced behind himself his steel blue eyes taking in the scene around him. He looked at the young man coming out of the store he had just vacated and a soft frown crossed his face. He turned to Georgie"We may want to move tis conversation else where the streets are becoming more populated.

Re: Holding the Line: Georgie & Edward
Georgie couldn't agree more with that. She'd been wanting to leave for the last whole time everything was going on.
"good idea. Real good idea." she didn't like crowds as a whole. It made her a little bit more paranoid to see more people watching them. It made her edgy.
"well I seem to recall giving you my address right?" she looked at Edward."we can meet at my apartment complex and that way we have less likely a chance at people watching us..or trying to cause trouble again." she smirked."you can tell I deal with people real well..so meet at my place? You can just follow me if you want. I don't think a neon blue hummer would be that hard not to track." she nodded her head.

He couldn't help but listen in on the conversation as he slowly made his way over to the dirty flat black 68 charger. Tossing his stuff into the back of the car he pulled out his pack of cigarettes and lit up as he leaned against the car.
Unfortunately he was always good around people himself and being in a new place Bucky new it would be hard to find new friends in a big place like this. Heck in the town he grew up in it was so easy but here people would most likely shoot you than say hello.

[All right, let me know what you are doing, what actions you are taking and I'll let you know what happens.]
Re: Holding the Line: Georgie & Edward
Taking his cap off and fixing the bend in it before shoving it back on his head Bucky got back in his car and shook his head. He was already regretting moving to Detroit but what better place to work on cars than motor city it's self. starting the car up he took the car out of the parking lot and headed to his apartment where he had already moved the majority of his stuff into.
It was a small apartment that sat above a mechanic's garage on some street off the main street for the area. It was a humble place with a 1 bedroom a bathroom and a kitchen with a small sitting room.
*lighting another cigarette Bucky turned on the radio hoping to find a good country station before looking around the apartment. in the sitting was a few pieces of second hand furniture. His walls were covered with baseball caps posters and his blade collection. Giving a small yawn Bucky dropped onto the couch pushed his cap over his eyes and considered at least getting to know the area.

Edward would get into his truck and head towards the Adress he had been given by the girl. He wanted to know if she could help him find out who or what was killing these girls. People just didn't fall over like that for no reason.
