Chapter Two of Devastation: Attn Chris, Dave, Professor Stevens, Liam

Liam ran east towards the convention center. Five minutes was too long for him.

[Giving a chance for Rico and Jake to reply.. will be posting this afternoon]

John ran with quick clean strides. He reached out with that hidden sense that he had been blessed with to the spirits of the city calling silently on their aid in its protection.

22:49:40 15/11/10] Ulfsark : Gary walks down the street with a newspaper in one hand and a doughnut in the other. He looks lazily around him, not expecting anything unexpected to happen. When he sees the large young man run for his life, he pauses and instinctively looks behind him. He throws away his news paper and the doughnut and yells at the man. "Hey! What's the fuzz about?" He reaches into his inner pocket and grabs something, but you can't see what it is yet.

[22:51:10 15/11/10] cobrawax : Liam only manages to say a few words between breaths. "Sorry. Emergency. Life or death situation."

[22:53:13 15/11/10] cobrawax : Liam stops briefly to catch his breath.

[22:54:22 15/11/10] Ulfsark : Gary wrinkles his forehead, and when he sees the gurneys coming rolling, he widens his eyes, and quickly wips out the item inside his jacket. "Hey, Police! Stop running and tell me what's going on!" The metal badge is shining in the afternoon light.

[22:57:07 15/11/10] cobrawax : "What?"asks Liam in an almost frustrated tone. He looks back at the gurneys and slides his hand across his face. He forgot about those.


[22:59:30 15/11/10] cobrawax : Liam's tone becomes panicky "Officer, they were being mistreated. I was with a friend of theirs. We had to get them out of there."

[23:00:26 15/11/10] Ulfsark : Gary quickly puts the badge back in his pocket. "What's going on here, what are you running from, and where did you take the gurneys?"

[23:01:49 15/11/10] Ulfsark : "From where did you take them? Why is this a matter of life and death?" He picks out his phone and starts going theough the phonebook."

[23:04:52 15/11/10] cobrawax : "I'm not in trouble am I? Look, just ask them. They'll agree and testify or whatever. I don't care. But, I need to get to the convention center. Something bad is going to happen. I don't know how I'm going to prove it. I mean, I heard things. It's going to be bad. Really bad."

[23:08:19 15/11/10] Ulfsark : "The convention center? Why? You have some explaining to do, but until then, I'm coming with you."

[23:10:26 15/11/10] cobrawax : Liam sighed. "Fine." He continued to the convention center.

[23:12:23 15/11/10] Ulfsark : Gary starts moving with him. "Don't sigh, son. I could have brought you in on suspicion if I wanted to. This is your better choice."

As Liam leads Gary towards the Convention center, Susan managed to shout out towards Gary.

"Liam's telling the truth, sir. We just rescued my friends from some... experiment that they never signed up for. We're leading them to the convention center. These guys say something bad is going on there."

As you approach the Convention center, you are able to walk right into the hall. Glancing around, you see several people lounging by the food center. After a moment, you notice that only one hall is open.

The doors stand open and you are able to wheel the gurneys into the wide double doors. Three people are standing at the podium, gesturing to a projected image of a cell. About fifty people are sitting in rows of seats facing the podium.

As you are with the people on gurneys, you immediately begin to attract attention.
