Hunter: the Vigil OOC

Hello!

Here is the OOC for Hunter writers to ask me and each other questions. Don't know each other's messenger but want to see what position your cell mate has taken? You can clarify here.

I also want to explain the new chronicle to you in a bit more detail. I've been hinting at bits and pieces in the chat, but I am resisting on explaining everything to you until you see it IC. This chronicle is going to be *more*. The danger is going to be threefold, meaning it will come from three different sources. Character death or alterations to your character from the alternative geography are possible. I estimate that our stories in the past have generally been Mental: 1 Physical: 2 and Social: 2. The Devastation chronicle is going to be Mental: 3 Physical: 3 and Social: 2.

The chronicle is a self contained chronicle. If you wish to continue on in Detroit, please inform me and you can carry on in Detroit. Please do this quickly, for isolation is going to become a feature of both the Detroit and Devastation chronicles as Hunters remain in one or the other.

The themes of this chronicle are desperation and disorientation. Riley and Chris have been transported by means unknown to some 'alternative geography'. Ironically, the two still in Detroit - Professor Stevens and Liam - have recalled unusual dreams about an alien landscape.

I encourage you to investigate what is happening. Those left behind will have no trace of where those in the alternative geogaphy have gone. Thier luggage and vehicles remain as they were. Those left behind can pursue anything they want until they begin to suspect something, at which point you cnan continue the hunt.

Those in the alternative geography may become confused- the world that your characters are in is very different. If you need any clarification, don't hesitate to ask here.

I'm curious what Devastion world is about.

Which world is my character Amber in first?

What is devastion world is it just an alternate universe to protect the vampire cannon, or is like an alternate reality where facts of the world are changed? ((Like America has a king or something))

Do we know both worlds exist, is it like you can go to one or the other like in a portal hopping like scenario?

I'm going to apologize in advance because this initial explanation is going to be incomplete.
Every one except Chris and Riley is in Detroit. Until you get a transition, that is where you stay.
Until someone discovers it 'in game', I don't want to tell you OOCly and ruin the investigative aspect. That largely applies to your last question- do you know if both worlds exist/ can you go there. Right now: Riley and Chris know about it because they are there.

How they got there: They felt extremely tired (only a few hours into the morning), fell unconscious and woke up in Devastation. Devastation applies to the OTHER place because no one has yet found out a name for it or invented one. To those left behind in Detroit, Chris and Riley simply vanished.

This chronicle works best in a 'two sides of the same coin'. Those in Detroit should continue to do whatever it is that they want to do; just like those in Devastation. You'll soon see 'overlaps' in the story where you can communicate with each other or other odd occurrences will occur.

Keep writing forward. Things will slowly be revealed and hopefully, you're characters will become inspired and learn how to investigate the situation.
