It's a brilliant idea -- both of you!! Smile

OK Chammadai: I have a lot of money riding on this so don't let me down!!!! ::grin::

The pic you're using for your Avatar? Is that a photo of you? Or is it a model? Let me know and settle a little wager I'm having with, ummm... "Mr. X"

Same here, though I've never gotten the patches for it, lol.

Sorry to disappoint Christiaen, but that's not me - if only I had put my age in my profile it might have been more obvious. If your bet was with either Dean or Sokhar than they probably have already deducted that it wasn't me though.
It's how I imagine my character to look and the actual person is Neal Barnard, M.D., famous for his books on nutrition. Hopefully you didn't lose much Wink

The patches mostly fixed some bugs and rebalanced the disciplines. There was some new sidequests, items, and Kindred talismans (Which really helped out my character who was too tweaked for social skills). That being said even without the patches I'm sure it was great cause the storyline remains the same of course.

Hi there Comrade-or-Gilbert, lol

Welcome to Detroit!
We love newbness. That's when y'all taste especially tasty and good Smile

Seriously though, welcome to the site, we're glad you found us. Things are a little helter skelter here -- that's the way we roll. Find a place to jump in and we'll do our best to work the game around you. Are you playing Requiem or Promethian?

And, you're in Memphis? Ahhh... love the TN. Spent some time in Memphis shooting video for a former employer, always had a great time there. Fabulous BBQ!

Smile Christiaen

Yeah, I love it here in Memphis.

Thanks for the welcome. I already sent Dean my character concept for prommie and am making a character for Vampire as we speak, so basically I am doing both or plan on it. I am a little daunted about reading everything you guys have done so far but I am also looking forward to it.

How do you roll dice here, and where is the character template? I am really curious and since you said newbness is welcome... Smile

Hey Comrade, this is the die roller we use.

http://umbralechoes.com/WoD2Roller.php

Just copy/paste the results into a post after rolling. Here are the creation/template rules for Requiem.

http://motorcityburning.forumotion.net/create-a-character-f16/general-character-creation-guidelines-t24.htm

We don't have a set sheet template although I'd recommend using this site to keep track of your sheets for Requiem. It does Promethean too, but for whatever reason, their Promethean sheets have no place to put notes/specialties.

Thanks. My newbness is satisfied, what did you think of my prommie character? Too centralized?

Wow, I just realized that I never came here to introduce myself. That said, Hi.

You probably won't see me playing in the Vampire Forums, but I'm hoping to be a regular in the Promethean division. I respect Vampire, but lack the mindset to play as one. My character would probably have as much chance as a Hippie at a NRA convention, which is partly why I play Promethean. They get an extra life lol.

Anyways, wanted to stave off rudeness and crawl back to my obscure corner of the boards.
