Re: Recon at Rapture
She briefly considers giving the guy a call, when she remembers that Lady Rollston wanted Suzette to contact her ghoul if she found Rosario. She has the man's address and phone number - what more could Lady Rollston want?
Digging in her purse to find the card that Lady Rollston gave her, Suzette finds a secluded table; preoccupied as she is, she's not sure if it's the same table that she and Russell had or not. Once the card is found, she dials the number.

An even, smooth, male voice answers after the third ring.
"Hello, this is John."
"Hello, this is John."

"Good evening. Suzette LeToure here. I've obtained some information, namely a business card with name, address, and phone number for one Rosario Small. I haven't yet confirmed that this is 'our' Rosario, though."

There is a very long pause at the other end of the line.
"Miss LeToure. You have called to have me tell Lady Rollston that you've obtained Rosario Small's contact information, when her specific instructions to you were to 'find him'? Have you confirmed that he is actually at any of these afore mentioned places?" John sounds just this side of irritated with having to deal with your phone call.

Re: Recon at Rapture
There's nothing worse than having to deal with an uppity ghoul. Except, perhaps, being invited to an important function and having nothing to wear. "As I just said," Suzette says, pausing ever so slightly to let her own irritation creep through the phone line, "I haven't confirmed the information yet. Lady Rollston also said to contact you immediately upon finding his whereabouts. He may have skipped town, or he may be staying with a friend, but this looks like an apartment number, and most people tend to stick close to home," she says, bluffing her pert behind off. "I'll be in touch." She hangs up her phone with a touch of glee.

OOC::
Russell feels an inexplicable pang of regret at not being present to overhear Suzette get verbally owned by a servant.
IC:
Russell frowned as he gathered up the two small bits of evidence from the alley. Finding the deformed bullet was faintly amusing, not to mention reassuring that Detroit's homicide unit continued to underperform in most investigations. That certainly worked to the advantage of his kind. Finding the business card bothered him, though. That made things entirely too easy. Could the men Lady Rollston sent to cover up the crime have been so incompetent to have not noticed? If the one loose end in the debacle left his contact information and address laying about in an alley, why even bother contacting Suzette to aid in the cover up? It wasn't her field to begin with, but this was the most gift-wrapped breech of the Masquerade that he had ever seen.
It didn't sit well with him, but he wasn't going to let his unease keep him from doing a thorough job. One last check of the alley before he headed inside to meet back up with Suzette.

OOC:
In that case, I'd have been fine with you both assuming that Russell heads back inside, but whatever.
IC:
His search yielding no new discoveries, Russell turned and headed back into the club to see if Suzette had had any luck of her own.

Re: Recon at Rapture
At the same time, Suzette goes to leave the club to check on Russell's progress, bumping into him as she does. This startles her Beast, which insists in no uncertain terms that she should run and hide somewhere immediately. Suzette clenches her jaw and stands her ground, however, and her Beast eventually slinks back to its pit.
"How goes the search? I found a business card," she says triumphantly, without waiting for him to respond. It is obvious that she is pleased with herself.

OOC:
If she rolls Resolve + Composure every time she bumps into a black guy, walking around Detroit must really suck.
IC:
Russell gives Suzette a look of bemused disinterest, like a bored parent examining his child's most recent finger-painting. "Congratulations," Russell replied as he dug the damp, discarded duplicate of the card Suzette held from his pocket. "Seems they're scattered all over this club. Not much else of consequence in the alley, though Detroit Homicide missed one of the rounds used outside. Means we probably don't have to worry about much follow-up investigation."
Russell gave her an intense stare. "No slight intended, but don't you find it a bit curious that Lady Rollston would bother contracting an outsider for this job, when the witnesses' name, number, and home address were so easily discovered?"

Re: Recon at Rapture
"Maybe her men couldn't get into the club," Suzette says dryly. "Now that you mention it, it is odd, though. Well, but she said that her employer was walking outside the club, on another errand, so maybe he just didn't have the time to go inside..."
Torn, she sends off a text to Sergio telling him to meet her and Russell by the door. If she can get Sergio to try to set up a meeting with this Rosario Small, perhaps to purchase some art for Le Seoul Glorieux's showroom, then that would at least draw the man out of hiding enough to see if he is even the right Rosario. In theory. Suzette doesn't dare admit it to herself - at least, not yet - but in case Russell is correct about something fishy going on, there is another benefit to sending in Sergio: he is more expendable than she is.
